The English department was started in June 1998. In the globalization age English language is playing important role. Therefore, the department of English focuses on developing communication skills, soft skills, and developing overall personality of the students from the rural and hilly area. The department organizes various activities for students and even for non-teaching staff. The faculties of department are actively engaged in the research activities.
The department also runs certificate course in Spoken Communicative skills in English. Students are oriented about the number of career opportunities available for students of English language and literature.
Aim -
To strengthen English language and literature among the students community.
